Graduate Selection Process - ThoughtWorks Australia

Graduate hiring is special for us. We get excited about the levels of energy and passion that you bring and we look for students with vision who we can help grow into amazing consultants. Each of our countries has a slightly different hiring process but the end results are the same: amazing people that we are thrilled to have join our team.

The process

Apply online. Introduce yourself to us using our online application. Please make sure to mention that you are applying for Graduate opportunities. Your application should include your CV and Academic Transcripts along with a cover letter explaining why you would be the perfect addition to our global team. Applications without a cover letter, no matter how great, will be rejected. Please create one document which includes all of the above and attach it using the file attachments section of the online application form.

If we like what we see we'll send you a questionnaire to complete so we can get to know more about you. We designed the questionnaire to get a feel for you personality, passions and thought processes. It is not intended to assess you technical capabilities as these will become evident later in the process.

Once we've reviewed your questionnaire, we'll contact successful applicants to conduct a phone interview. This initial conversation will determine if ThoughtWorks is a good match for you and vice versa. It is also the time where we need to mutually agree that your attitude, motivations, passions and willingness to travel are a good fit.

If you're applying as a developer we'll need you to write some code for us. This is your time to shine and show us what you can do!

After all of this we then invite people into our office to sit some assessments including a behavioral survey and logic and cognitive reasoning tests.

Our Graduate Recruitment day will consist of activities, presentations and games. The day is usually quite long but we try to organise a program that is both interesting and fun!
