Enterprise Agile in Practice - Guardian.co.uk

Guardian.co.uk is an multiple-award winning network comprising a wide variety of features, content and applications, with over 2 million pages, and 24 million unique visitors each month. In partnership with ThoughtWorks, Guardian specified, designed, built and migrated a million pieces of content to the new platform over the last two years. Agile practices were introduced through the programme which have resulted in a unique Guardian Agile methodology being adopted.

This briefing will walk through this, the largest development project in Guardian’s history, detailing the inception and pilot approach, continuous improvement practices, transition and migration challenges as well as the lessons learnt along the way. We’ll hear about how the programme dealt with scope creep and changing requirements, how the results measure up against the expectations and how the sceptics were won over.

There will be ample time for questions from the presenters.
